Critical Illness Cover

The following illnesses are covered:

• Cancer
• First Heart Attack
• Stroke
• Heart Disease (requiring a bypass graft)
• Kidney Failure

In addition you are covered for a serious contagious disease.

Medical expenses and lifestyle changes can have a toll on your savings and your medical aid benefits.

Our critical illness product pays on top of any other policies or medical coverage.

The plan provides payment of a lump sum amount for first time diagnosis of one of the five critical illnesses or a serious contgious disease.

This is subject to an initial waiting period of 90 days.

The benefit amount will only be paid after you have lived with a critical illness/serious contagious disease for 28 days from the first diagnosis.
